Mother & Baby Treatments

Mother Rebalancing Treatments

Pregnancy, birth, and the postnatal period ask an enormous amount of the body. After birth, the body naturally takes time to reassemble and integrate the profound physical and emotional transitions it has experienced.

Using a combination of Craniosacral Therapy, fascial work, and scar therapy where needed, these sessions gently support the body’s return to balance. Treatments can help ease tension, encourage alignment, and support recovery following both pregnancy and birth.

Emotional integration is also an important part of the process. Sessions may support the release of shock, stored emotions, or deeply held patterns within the nervous system. Where there is scarring – including caesarean scars or more subtle internal and external scar tissue – treatment can help the tissues soften, realign, and regain mobility.

Sessions last approximately one hour. The number of treatments recommended will vary depending on your individual circumstances and how your body responds, though many women notice a positive difference from the first session.

Combined Mother & Baby Craniosacral Therapy

These sessions offer gentle support for both mother and baby together, creating space to hear and hold the whole story of the birth and early postpartum experience.

Treatment focuses on calming and regulating the nervous system, supporting bonding, feeding and latching challenges, and helping both mother and baby integrate their experience of birth. This can be especially supportive following traumatic births, interventions, separation after birth, or delayed skin-to-skin contact.

The first session lasts approximately 90 minutes. Follow-up sessions are usually one hour.

Ideally, treatment begins as soon as possible after birth – though it is never too late to receive support.

Baby Craniosacral Therapy

A gentle and nurturing treatment designed to support babies as they settle into life outside the womb.

Sessions can help babies release tension or patterns held from pregnancy or birth, support nervous system regulation, and encourage ease, comfort, and integration following their journey into the world.

Ongoing Support

For all treatments, a series of sessions is often most beneficial, particularly where patterns are deeply held. Guidance will always be offered on an individual basis according to your needs and responses to treatment.

Many people notice improvements quickly, although some issues benefit from ongoing reinforcement and support over time.

Home Visits

Home treatments are available during the early postnatal period and are especially recommended within the first 40 days after birth.

This is traditionally considered a time for rest, bonding, nourishment, and being held and supported yourselves. While modern life does not always make this easy, these sessions aim to bring some softness, care, and support into that important transition.
